Portsoy Community Enterprise (PCE) is a social enterprise,
driven by the enthusiasm and passion of volunteers who bring together an array
of assets, events and offerings, which keep alive the ingrained heritage and
cultures of the north east of Scotland.
PCE offers the opportunity for both the local community and
visitors to Portsoy to take part in and experience real authentic cultural
Scottish Traditional Boat Festival, annual 2 day event
celebrating the heritage and culture of north east Scotland.
The Salmon Bothy, an accredited museum and community venue
which is home to various clubs and groups including:
Bothy Knitters - a group of enthusiastic knitters who create
items for sale and display, as well as organise the annual Wool Festival in Portsoy.
Folk at the Salmon Bothy - folk
music group which holds monthly open mic sessions and annual Haal music festival
The Boatshed – led by a qualified boat builder, volunteers
restore and build wooden boats using traditional skills. Courses ranging from 1 hour to 5 days are
available for those keen to learn a new skill or build their own boat to take
Portsoy Links Caravan Park – caravan park and campsite
located immediately on the shore at Portsoy Links bay.
The Sail Loft – modern and fully equipped 25 bed self
catering accommodation with outdoor hot tub located immediately on the shore at
